Coasters again!

I like making coasters. They are easy to make and they are practical. What could be better.

All my coasters are made with cotton yarn. Cotton yarn holds the stitch well and they wash well.

These were made using a variegated yarn with a white border. You will find the patterns below.

Sweet Somethings

The heart is easy to make, and I added a crochet border to match the other coasters.

I like to swap the colour schemes of my coasters it gives things a fresh look. The coasters work up fast so would make a fun practical gift.

Amigurumi Doll

I love Amigurumi Dolls. Yes, I am an adult, well sort of. I refuse to get old. I am entering my first childhood; I grew up fast and now I am having fun.

This is my Amigurumi doll.

She is simple to make and easy to customise to your needs.

You can find the patterns here: Palm Sized Dolls

No pun intended but I am hooked on these dolls and will make more in the future. I added a scalloped edge to the dress as I thought it suited the doll.
Her witch's hat is lilac and the dress more of a dusky rose in reality.
I did not have the correct sized safety eyes, so I sewed them instead.

She is my persona on a site I use and named Aroa-Dawn.

New Blanket

It has been a while since I posted anything here. A lot has happened, and I have been busy getting things organised.
Thankfully things are calming down and I am able to get back what passes for normal again.

I am adding the latest Preemie Baby Blanket.

The pattern is Double Andalusian stitch and is really easy to do. I love how it looks like tiny squares. Even the wrong side looks pretty.

Now if you want some easy stitch patterns you really need to take a look here.

Her videos are easy to understand, and you can see what she is doing as she explains each pattern.

Her website has so many beautiful stitch patterns which are free that you will never run out of ideas for the next project.

So Woolly

I am collecting quite a library of patterns that I will be using.
